Him having the gun was not the issue, him putting himself in the middle of law enforcement business and then resisting arrest and fighting with officers is the issue. 

You people really need to learn the difference in those two aspects of this situation. 

And by no means is the NRA to speak for anything that has to do with the best interest of gun owners in the US, they are one of the biggest frauds in the industry.

He interfered with federal agents, was being arrested and resisted that arrest and proceeded to fight with officers while he had a firearm on his person. That is A+ retard behavior right there

He didn't have the firearm drawn and it was removed from him before they killed him.
