Just because it is less bright doesn't mean it's behind the clouds. Also, if an object with a brightness of, for example, 50%, is flying in front of a background with a brightness of 5% it will look much more visible than when flying in front of a background with a brightness of 40, and if it flies in front of a background with a brightness of 60% it will not be visible (if the colour is the same).

You can see that the brightness is not constant, even in the areas that appear cloudless, and that's one of the reasons I think it was a bird, as flapping wings and change of direction change the brightness of a bird reflecting the lights from the streets and buildings below.

At 05.966 in the video we can see the object is on an area that appears to have clouds and we can clearly see it.

The opposite happens at 08.133, when the object is on a clearer area but almost invisible.

As the object doesn't appear to be visible at the start of the video, my personal opinion is that it was flying more or less over the red line I marked on the image below, making it more visible when flying over brighter areas and less visible when flying over darker areas.

PS: One thing I have noticed is that, because of the light from the cities being much stronger than it was some 40 or 50 years ago, birds can fly at night without any problems, as I have seen pigeons fly at night, when they were supposed to be sleeping.

So if we believe it was a bird and if we believe that it was flying that close to the camera does it not stand to reason it would appear to be flying at a high rate of speed? Were there no other cameras or people down below filming it, if it was considered a strange sight, UAP? Or do most people not look up into the sky?

If you watch it closely you can see it still moving away right before it turns again and flys off to the left of the screen. Even in the frame you provided it's still there but facing away from us. The light can faintly be seen.

I think the other issue here is that the lights are being slightly distorted by the water drops on the camera, but even so the lights are still trackable during the video.

You’re watching different video, it flies through a cloud. I looked at it frame by frame getting a screen shot.

I’m all for debunking, but it has to be in the realm of reality.

A better argument but it doesn’t bear up. Go frame by frame and you can see it’s much further away, it is partially obscured by clouds at times, then completely goes through a low hanging cloud at timestamp 15. You can watch it frame by frame go into and out of the cloud becoming more obscured until it disappears completely then less obscured as it comes out.

i have seen many ufo videos where i would agree it’s just a bird or bug closer to the camera.

that is not this video. Go frame by frame. I did.

There is no way we can determine it's position on that video, you may see it further off, I can see it flying over the road and closer to the camera. And it makes sense that it's a bird flapping its wings in flight and the flight path is somewhat erratic, because the light reflection blinks off and on, so to speak.

not a rocket or a plane.

any ideas what this ufo might be?

Link to the video on Twitter/X

Yep, that's how 'their' vessels move sometimes. Flicker is directly the result of low clouds and the vessel goes through them. I have seen exactly same flicker during ufo observation in overcast weather at night.
The flight is not erratic either. Simply the vessel makes a turn toward camera location seemingly slowing down. Then resumes the course. Altitude varies slightly...but nothing big deal.

Awesome catch and thank you.

I downloaded the video and watched it frame by frame, that's why I know the exact times of those screenshots.

And a video of an unknown object does not give enough information for anyone to know its size and distance from the camera. Also, it's not possible to know if the object passed behind (or inside) the cloud or if it was just less visible like in the frame captured at 08.133.

I suppose this will be one of those cases in which each person has their own interpretation and, because it's not possible to be sure of any of the possibilities, things will remain unknown, unless we get more information.

Own interpretation if fine. But simply say 'I don't know'. That is not interpretation.
Me as a witness can say, it looks very much of what I have seen not once. Wish you see it one day or night.
