1966 Patterson Footage Hoax?

To start with, I personally have never had an encounter with this Cryptid.

Having said that, I have met numerous people who have. The Dene First Nations people in NWT call them the Hairy Man, and I have met quite a few who have had experiences with them. In fact they will not go out on the land unarmed and alone during the end of September beginning of October or in April, as they say that this is when “they” are migrating and following the Caribou. 

It is very entrenched in their culture and history. No joke.
They speak of women being taken for reproductive reasons and men being taken as a way to use them to help get women.

Like I said, I’ve never seen or had any experience with them, but I believe.

There’s an actual sign at the North end of the Alberta Forestry Trunk Road or FTR, depicting a Sasquatch, and warning people to be careful about wildlife in the area.
 It may be tongue in cheek but… I will post the sign pic next

Right on brother appreciate the lovely post and absolutely same here - in places you'd never expect if these critters were 'normal'.

Certainly 'trust' these two chaps not to be shills and some extremely pertinent info here about the relevant documentary and the PG Bigfoot footage.

Definitely looking more and more like it was a big fat hoax (one of the biggest ones in human history lol).

I am a believer in there being a “relic hominid” for want of a better word existing in places around the globe, I can even accept them having some dimension of “paranatural” capabilities at a stretch.
However, I don’t think Patty is anything other than some dude in an expensive costume.
The head turn is what ruins it for me, if you were wanting to prove it was an animal you’d want to see it’s face and loe-and-behold Patty turns and looks straight at the camera. Too convientent.

Don't get me wrong, I completely believe many folks across the globe who have encountered the Bigman but looks like the famous 1996 Patterson footage may have been hoaxed.

Between cars and over hunting to poachers, how many animals are killed each year?  To the point of extinction?  Vs how many animals kill humans each year.  (I guess there’s the whole tick and Lyme disease thing, but that’s insect based.)

Where’s the sign warning animals of the real monsters.  Lol…

Appreciate the replies and for what it's worth would really recommend watching this interview with close range eyewitnesses Harold and Cody.

It lines up with lots of other global freaky Fortean reports and would say there's something exceedingly strange going on (possibly akin to Keel's Ultraterrestrial hypothesis).

Some of those animals would be threated or even extinct were it not for hunters.
