I find it funny that some people are automatically saying "aliens" and "NHI technology".

Just because we haven't seen a comet/asteroid off gassing water, or one that just happens to be tagging orbital slingshots on its way here, that it for sure has to be alien right.

The universe is vast, and we are such a fledgling species when it comes to space and astronomy, this probably happens all the time and could end up being completely natural.

Or

Aliens.
A hero is someone who simply got to frightened to use common sense and run away, then somehow lived through it all

The only way that disclosure will happen is when aliens initiate the event themselves.
Governments would never give that much power away.

That will never happen, as it would disrupt the entire structure. We will never have truthful 'Governmental disclosure'. The sooner everyone gets that, the better.

Really, so Earth is now bound to Groundhog day where everything will remain how it is? I got my money on progress continuing. Been a lot of truth clarified over the years. If some choose to live in denial, that is there call.

It was when the USSR disrupted back to Russia where a lot more openness about the topic emerged. Those in the know still had families to feed while the government payment systems where in chaos. Trump has pushed back a similar thing with the USA and its debt problems.

No. Just setting main engines to preheat for breaking manoeuver. They have been so cold for so long they have to be prepared for ignition very slowly.

They should be contacting Earth approach for orbital clearance soon.
