More seriously, until we get better images of the thing, we'd have to assume that it's a natural object. However, if the powers that be DO have images that show it to be artificial, there is no possible way they'd let us see them.

Anton does have a few problems with Avi over the years as he has been too quick to call out aliens before. In a technical sense it is alien being from another place. As for any signs of alive, intelligent life, it is looking like a dead rock at this time.

If disclosure does ever come, Anton will not be on the front lines, he will make good back up once the evidence is out and quarantine lifted. 

So for fun, lets say there is a Klingon warship buried inside the rock waiting for it moment to strike. I would wait until it gets to its closest point to the sun to break out. At this time Earth will be on the other side of the Sun and cannot see it. From there I would use the position of the Sun to blind Earth to its approach. 

But then what if not Klingon's but some other kind of life from the cold hard depths of interstellar space? A more ghostly presence in a hidden form, free from the empty stillness to adventure once more?
