But there has been a uptick in a lot of things over the last 30-40 years. It's been slow but sure. If you're younger, then yeah it's normal. If you are older, most humans don't notice gradual changes.
For instance if a person had a couch sitting in a room with not much of a reference point, say a wall or table. You could move it a half inch every couple weeks or month, and you could probably move a foot or more before the average person would notice.
I think of the frog in a pot, lets say over the last 20-30 years, politics, social media, bad to non existent mental health care..a lot of moving parts.
