Thanks for the information about bombing runs - did you not watch the main video interview in the first post?

I have watched that video with great interest. I also made an effort to keep my previous posts covering this topic brief.

Granted it's speculation but the Professor does bring up bombing patterns and how 'ten out of ten' major General Electric plants were left untouched - he also describes the 'donations' made by the same U.S. Company to the S.S. Keppler fund.

The Schweinfurt debacle put a spanner in the works to American efforts to knock out choke points in German industry. 

Moreover, to make that above argument concerning General Electric one assumes the historical efforts of the Eighth Air Force and Bomber Command sought to avoid those targets. For instance, Bomber Command sinking the battleship Tirpitz and the Eighth Air Force's existing industrial targets were not vaild with the current information available to military planners.
