They can easily and quickly come to us but we cannot come to them.
And I think distance is a none issue in a spacefaring civilization.
At that speed It would take approximately 22.000 years to travel to here from our nearest star approx' 4.25 light years away.
It also hasn't shown any sign of slowing down, so unless they're going to jump off at mars leaving the comet to continue on, I doubt it will be any threat to life on Earth.
But hey....
