Here's a horrible truth.

At the moment, you would appear to have more troops in the city of Los Angeles than you have stationed in Iraq.

I mean, i get that it's a temporary situation, or at least i certainly hope that's the case.

But it does not look good, and amounts to political signalling imho.

NGL America hasn't looked good in a while... it was well past time for just reflection, we are in self-help mode. The signal is we tried it your way, now we're going to try it my way. 

FWIW, you want those bases sparsely manned when Israel hits Iran, those bases will be under Iranian mssile threat
