Basically there three possibilities on where he focuses on two of them leaving 'people from another planets' as a base premise. Second possibility is inter dimensions, which does not explain, and even more complicated, than people from another planets, given the variety of species seen during encounters and the third vision is our minds make up the phenomenon based on folklore from around the globe...did i get it right?
none are new by the way.
So, from another dimensions...does not explain the variety of shapes and forms...either they all come from their own dimensions or same dimension but still from other planets. he did not clarify.
the folklore is easy to explain...when unknown is seen, our mind is trying to match what is in front of the witness relying on known pattern or as Greg says, folklore characters.
my take on it....real people from another planets.
there is no need to make up an alternative nature of the phenomenon simply because we don't know yet the means of travel and current physics has no answers.
The forth possibility is us from the future...which i probably missed in that presentation but then it does not explain the variety.
cheers board! Karl, thanks again. I know there are other videos in this thread...i will watch them another time.
A possible explanation for the variety of shapes and forms.
If you can travel through space to reach other planets, then the ultimate goal would be information, you would spread as far and wide as possible, sending as many unmanned probes, and maned probes as possible. Colonizing other suitable planets or building your own outpost/bases. Harvesting any unknown material for study, mining known materials for your space program an advancement in technology.
Over time these bases/outpost/colonies would most likely deviate from each other somewhat in technology, due to difference in available resources. So one large space exploring race might have many different kinds ships. Ships built around star a are saucer shaped, ships built around star b, football shaped.
Then you throw in different kinds of ships to do different jobs. You probably need some war ships, you never know when you might run into a hostile race. Lots different kinds of science ships, after all information is what it's all about. Then you got experimental craft. And of course you will always have older ships and newer ships.
If you have 4 or 5 races all operating similar to that profile. That's a lot of different ships.
Then if you throw in some are coming from a different time or dimension. Moving into this timeline/dimension might look kinda wild. Some might have cloaking devices, and who knows what something cloaking or de cloaking would look like. Or a partially cloaked craft would look like.
No matter why there are so many different kinds. One thing is clear. They all are interested in this planet. And genetic material seems to be on the list of things they want.
