'Alternate Theories Of UFO Origin'.

Given that the human mind has the active function of cognitive dissonance, which has often puzzled me, I have often wondered about the utility of that aspect.  Some of the comments herein allows me to suspect for the first time that the nitty-gritty segments involved in a genuine understanding of what is true reality is beyond human comprehension, never to be fully known understood.  If one approaches that position, is there a safe position of observation, or does cognitive dissonance intercede to rule the day?

Yes couldn't agree more mate but personally do think true objectivity can be achieved (or at least verifiable evidence based group consensus) - otherwise everything would just be pseudoscience.

That said there is colossal corruption in mainstream science and reckon we are like infants when it comes to the true nature of what we deem 'reality' (consciousness, time etc.).

Loads (and loads) of UFO info, speculation and conjecture actively removed from the internet these days mate and really do wonder why that is (and by whom) - will keep on posting it though and here's a relevant question by Caravaca (link now deleted).

Posted this vid on another thread but also thought Zelia made a great point about 'orbs' and situational 'context'.

Basically 'if you see one in the sky it's a UFO, if you see one in a graveyard it's a ghost, if you see one with a cryptid in a forest you're crazy etc.'.

If report literature is to be believed regarding 'orb' antics 'across the board' in UFO, poltergeist and cryptid cases then pretty curious how all three subjects sometimes generate EM effects, strange odours, buzzing sounds, time anomalies, the Oz effect etc.

Went down the 'intelligent plasma' rabbit hole a few years back and there really are some pretty remarkable scientific aspects - regarding archetype constructs there's also the historical shamanistic angle where 'sentient light forms' were reported to be 'tricksters' which somehow affected the observer's consciousness.
