Watching the movie "Brightburn" right now, but will watch that directly afterward Thumbup Thumbup    I had forgotten about the movie "The Omen".   I very much like The Omen, and think it should be among the top  50 horror movies of all time.

Have you ever sat down and watched this one (Tobe Hooper Director)?

Bloody awesome lol.

Yes!! That's the one, and I think that's a picture of Lon Chaney Jr. in the background there as the original werewolf. These movies are good, but they were even better when we were a bit younger - still good though.

So that Salems' Lot was a miniseries(I thought it was). A lot of Stephen Kings' books converted to film were also in the miniseries format e.g. The Langoliers, and The Stand et al.

David Soul was also a singer. Remember that old song from the seventies. It was quite popular at the time:

This thread might not be for everyone but if you enjoy a good horror film and know of any original or exceptional examples (new or old) then please feel free to post.

Grew up watching VHS versions of 'The Wicker Man' and 'American Werewolf In London' so the standard is set pretty high lol.

Recently watched Midsommar and thought it was awesome.

Also thought this recent Aussie film called 'Talk To Me' was an absolute winner.

The Spanish make some good movies, sometimes with a strange sense of humour or an unexpected ending.
