Trump says he bombed Iran

Sorry... It's a CNN paywall article.

https://www.cnn.com/2026/04/11/politics/...na-weapons

But the headline is ALL YOU NEED.

Xi's gonna have some splainin' to do..  at their summit..

And then Trump will have to spin that the prospects of this being a short-lived war we've "already won" just slipped into the winds once China made Iran its Ukraine and The USA it's Russia.

Because since 1949, the world only does proxy wars.

Bound to happen, but it will certainly put a clamp on whatever dog's tail this ceasefire was actually wagging.

Oh NO!     Who should we trust better than whatever????      Lol

Trumps rhetoric isn't really helping the talks....

Are you maybe projecting your disgusting values upon normalcy?

Quote:Psychological projection is a subconscious defense mechanism where individuals attribute their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, or impulses onto someone else to avoid anxiety and protect their self-image.

Only a real derp would believe Trump published family pics of his abuse.

I can't even imagine what you people are like IRL.

The US Navy has begun mine clearing operations in the SOH.

American military forces began the process for clearing of sea mines laid by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz on April 11, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said after two US Navy guided-missile destroyers conducted the operations as the US and Iran held peace talks in Islamabad.

“USS Frank E Peterson and USS Michael Murphy transited the Strait of Hormuz and operated in the Arabian Gulf as part of a broader mission to ensure the strait is fully clear of sea mines previously laid by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps,” said the US Command in a public statement.
Additional forces, including underwater drones, will join the clearance effort in the coming days.
“We began the process of establishing a new passage and we will share this safe pathway with the maritime industry soon to encourage the free flow of commerce,” said Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM.

Sounds to me like we’re going to open the strait whether they like it or not.  The US military is currently operating with impunity.
Apparently I’m in cult now, someone here told me so.
Some images showed up of an Israeli interceptor that landed in  an Arab town. Due to the lot number showing it was produced in January of this year, the article is speculating that this could infer that Israel is dangerously low on interceptor stockpiles.

The wreckage of an interceptor missile found in southern Israel on April 7 provided the first evidence that the country’s multi-layered air defense network is facing a shortage.
Video footage of the wreckage, determined to belong to a Stunner interceptor fired from a David’s Sling air defense system, surfaced online just a few hours before the United States announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran. Israel voiced its support of the ceasefire, which came 39 days after the start of the war on the Islamic Republic. The interceptor, found in the Arab Bedouin town of Tel Sheva, carried markings indicating that it was only produced in January of this year.
The Stunner is equipped with dual CCD/IR and active radar seekers especially designed to distinguish between decoys and the actual warhead of the missile. The missile also receives tracking data from Elta EL/M-2084 active electronically scanned array multi-mode radar.
The multi-stage interceptor consists of a solid-fuel rocket motor booster, followed by an asymmetrical kill vehicle with advanced steering for super-maneuverability during the kill-stage. A three-pulse motor provides additional acceleration and maneuverability during the terminal phase.
A single interceptor costs upwards of $1 million, and while the production rate is kept under tight wraps, the complexity of the missile suggests that only a few dozens are produced a month, at best.

An analytic report released earlier by The Jerusalem Post concluded that the David’s Sling, while highly effective against shorter range missiles, has failed against heavier ones.
This shortage was likely a key contributing factor to Israel’s decision to accept the two-week ceasefire with Iran announced by the U.S.
Israel will likely attempt to replenish its stockpile during the ceasefire. However, two weeks will not likely be enough to produce any meaningful number of interceptors.

Well, that does not bode well.

I think the New Army of Reinvigorated Hubris may be overlooking the cyber punk megaopolis builders with endless resources to pose against US interests and drag this out much longer than Trump wants.

I'm glad the destroyers passed through the strait  today and the mine clearing can begin... But China sees only benefit to a strait blockade to all but their ships.  Why wouldnt they try to delay passage? Saudis are shipping from Jeddah now.

China LIKES when they are the only ones open or have some kind of proxy advantage. I think it's their MO.

Like covid.  It was like they created a virus in a joint US facility, let it go onto a cruise ship, then locked people inside and sprayed, and delayed giving their affected citizens ANY freedom until it became herd endemic and so mutated the risk to their population was minimalized.

And in the meantime profit off of all the Amazon and household items they made. Then simultaneously feed propaganda with bots to blame "Western Elites".. like a divide and conquer strategy.

I am just not as sold on our superiority to end this so quickly. Or that we understand the chess game that divides us being played.

Especially if Iran becomes China's Ukraine.
