A higher percentage of generals have gotten where they are from hard work when compared to most politicians though.

I have no idea if the claims are true or not (personally lean towards them being Iranian disinfo) but apparently a number of US troops are alleged to have submitted complaints after a handful of incidents of superiors citing evangelical scripture and fulfilling doomsday prophecy as a reason for the war which is very worrying if true as it's a core belief of extremist neo-cons/paticular branch of US evangelism that actively and openly calls for worldwide nuclear holocausrt to bring the rapture/second coming of christ.

If this report is true then it seems over 200 troops have complained about such but personally I think/hope this is Iranian propaganda. A few of the Iranian strike targets have required pretty involved espionage but nowhere near as advanced or extensive as US/Israeli intel so not unthinkable they would have 200+ intel/operations officers in US DoD otherwise they're as mad as the Mullahs and it's destined to be the Iraq war on steroids.
