I heard they sell them in vending machines in Japan, but these days I think if your are looking you should be able to purchase dirty knickers and used bath water from IRL twitch streamers or fans only as well.

That's a 1500% markup. Yes, it's not technically correct to say that establishing price parity is "a 1500% cut" instead of "reducing the 1500% markup to 0%". However normal people can easily understand it, and so can moderately intelligent people. Only midwits with an agenda latch on to it as a gotcha, rather than focusing on the underlying point of actually trying to help people with cost of care, instead of scoring pretend political points.

The USA stands out as having the highest prices for medicines in the whole world. It is not some other countries that have more reasonable pricing, it is all other countries.

Trump reducing prices to be reasonable, like other countries already have, does not seem particularly amazing to all those who already pay reasonable pricing.

I would think that raising or allowing prices to go up, simply so you can advertise later discounts, would be considered by business regulatory authorities to be a type of fraud.

Also, Trump was in error, again, in public, on camera and broadcast to the world. Everyone makes mistakes but you cannot abide Turnip being shown-up for what he is, and every time have to come up with some screwball excuse for him. You are in cognitive dissonance about the man-baby.

You believe anything your cognitive bias confirms.  No point in trying to educate you otherwise.

Do your own research.  I'm not going to spoon feed you.

When Trump 1st took office the DOW Jones was about 19000. Now it's close to 50,000. I thought that was good? I think I'll steer clear of your University.  Lol

2025 stock market crash

And now he's made back a few billion. Whoop.

You dug up a Wikipedia article from the week after the market reacted to news of the tariffs.  Have you looked at any of the cited indices recently?

Trump doesn't understand Economics, either.

Can’t point me in the direction where debt is a good thing could you please. I don’t know why a trade deficit is automatically a bad thing.
Sure responsible debt is ok, I get that but, is the US debt a responsible debt?
Especially to your enemies

I would argue that lowering the cost of meds here in the United States might help bring down the cost of our insurance plans and that would be a good thing for us. You may not be amazed by that because the United States and it's citizens aren't concerned with you or how you feel about anything at anytime of any day.

Trump had a whole four year term where he didn't do much about unfair pricing and he actively sabotaged Obama era reductions in healthcare insurance and medicine costs.

He is part of the problem that he alledges he solved.

What reductions did he sabotage?
He doesn't really get to do to many permanent changes, I do recall and executive order that lowered insulin to 10 dollars but those only last so long.

So, you are saying this week's specials will be gone in a week, returning to 'normal' pricing, and something else will be on special?
