My top ten WORST films

I do read reviews.

I looks like we saved ourselves a lot of pain and suffering by doing so. lol Although with some movies that I haphazardly start watching I know within the first 10 minutes whether or not I will switch it off. "One man's trash is another man's treasure" can also apply here.

The Tom Cruise remake of The Mummy is about as bad as it gets.  Shame, because the trailer looked good.

I know folks are going to disagree with me on this one but Event Horizon is on my list.

Another is the latest remake of Wolfman.  It occurred to me that the original came out almost a century ago and we haven't been able to top it.  You can actually same the same about all the remakes of the gothic classics.

Oh and I agree with @DBCowboy about The Blues Brothers.  It's one of my all time favs.  Look no further than Les Miserables if you want a musical.  I was surprised how well Hugh Jackman could sing.  I was not surprised that Russell Crowe could not, lol.

My most hated:
  • Mulan Rouge. I walked out and was not the only one.
  • Neopolitan Dynamo. Again could not get any interest and stopped watching and even not bothering to name it correctly.
  • Skool Daze. Spike Lee makes a musical, enough said.
  • West Side Story.
  • Andy Whorehole's "Sleep" , again something I could not even finish to play in the backgrond while we pretended we knew all about the art of film.
  • Something About Mary. I'm not going into a feminist rant.
  • Annie Hall by Woody Allen. iykyk
  • Porkeys 2 The Next Day. Dont bother looking it up.
  • Sons of Steel. Think madmax as a musical...
  • Lethal Weapon 3; I was travelling at the time it was new so saw it 3-unknown times during the ordeal.

Im not like hating on all musicals, like Blues Brothers is an epic movie, and Repo, if you not seen you need to see it. Then there is that Chicken Ranch movie with our divine queen Dolly Parton...

but yeah most musicals suck.

LOL Here's the trailer. "NO" because I've been there and done that.

My top ten WORST films ....

Cloud Atlas
Son of the Mask
Mickey 17
Elf
Howard the Duck
Johnny Depp version of Willie Wonka
The new Ben Hurr (2016 ?)
Guardians of the Galaxy 3
Blue Lagoon
Return to Blue Lagoon

That being said.
Some movies are bad but that's what makes them good.
But these have no redeeming quality whatsoever.

I was doing a media degree back in the day and have seen some shit movies, but none oof them thank fk.

But seriously what were you expecting from a remake of Ben Hur?.

How is Elf a bad movie LOL... its stupid funny.

I never watched Howard the Duck movie... but loved the comics, same with Guardians of the Galaxy.  Marvel movies have a history of being the worst... I rather stick to their old comics. :P

Haven't seen Johnny Depp version of Willie Wonka, I'll pass... I'm sure you're 100% correct on that one!

Who still watches old movies like The Blue Lagoon or Return to the Blue Lagoon... or even remembers them? Why? Lol

Emperor (2012) is an awful film that embraces historical political correctness at the expense of historical accuracy. Emperor is also the worst film in my DVD collection.

Speed 2: Cruise Control was a franchise killer and a terrible watch.

Rambo: Last Blood, I resent Sylvester Stallone wrapping up the Rambo movies with such rubbish.

I'm 63.   I saw Blue Lagoon.
I never saw 'Return to Blue Lagoon'.
I added that to the list because Blue Lagoon was so bad that I figured the sequel was the same.
