"Food" and "a partner/mate" are both "SURVIVAL NEEDS."

Our general hubris and human bullshit makes us want to exclude "emotions" from life.
Because they can't control them.

Of course it doesn't. No woman has ever wanted to spend time with me let alone carry my child in her womb for six months. It doesn't look like any woman will ever want to preserve my dna by having my child. I kinda despise men who've experienced this privilege especially if they have a daughter (they get to have two women who care about them).

We are becoming more individual with less gender stereotypes. 

Women are choosing what they want. China has a serious problem of an abundance of males due to gender selection and women choosing careers over marriage. Finland marriage is less common than it once was and cohabitation is prevalent. Women now have control over their bodies (mostly). They can choose sex patterns without commitment.

I think this is what is unconsciously happening with younger fertile women being attracted to the “bad boys”.  We’ve just become so removed from our natural instincts we don’t notice. Older women want companionship.

Agree. In nature, only one male in the group is necessary for propagation of the species; all the rest are superfluous, except in those species which have evolved to build a familial unit.   In those cases -- in nature -- a male/female devotion is required to raise a family.   My reference?  Canadian Geese.   Do humans benefit by a nuclear family unit?   Yes, I believe so, however I don't think that a traditional one is absolute;   I know two men who have raised kids that are well-balanced and wonderful.   It takes exactly the same amount of care and devotion as with traditional M/F  family units.  

Agree with you also that human sociology is changing.   No woman NEEDS a man.  No man NEEDS a woman.  No woman NEEDS a woman.  No man NEEDS a man.   Still, for the propagation of the species, some of those variables must combine.   I'm all in favor of the confusion of those variables, because I believe there are WAY too many people on the surface of the Earth.   Sure, if we equally parsed us all out, there would be plenty of space, but that's not the way humans live.   

Humans have historically been pioneers, seeking fresh resources.    Once found, they made settlements.   Other humans followed, and they also reaped those resources.   Towns grew into cities, and there weren't enough resources to feed the cities, so they made contracts with less populated areas to farm and feed the cities.  

It isn't natural.   It isn't a sustainable way to live as a species.

It's just too bad that the Georgia Guidestones were destroyed.   If anyone has the sand to click on that link and scroll down to the message of it, we should all be sad that a timeless and truly progressive and enlightened monument of humankind has been lost.

So what you're all saying is only the strongest Genghis Khan type males should be allowed to transmit their genes to the next generation?

I think we see this with the bad boy phenomena. Now there are no social pressures on young women to date respectable guys like in the 1950s - young women are selecting males who in a bygone era their parents wouldn't have approved of. 

As someone who observes dating trends from afar it's interesting to note that a lot of young girls seem to choose more exotic looking males over pasty men like myself. It must be something to do with Darwinian sexual selection and also pop culture which heavily promotes gang culture.

women who are attracted to "bad boys" are confusing them for alphas

"bad boys" typically suffer from mommy/daddy issues
They're emotionally stunted, emotionally unavailable 
women who are attracted to them also have unresolved mommy/daddy issues
Hence their deep-seated need to find someone to "fix"

True alphas are protective and willing to sacrifice by nature
