To upload a video from an app like Youtube click the logo marked in blue.
It will give you options to post a link from the site that hosts the video

Yes, that would be the normal procedure for YouTube videos and a few other obscure platforms.

However, a link generated from a file sharing service, such a Catbox he used, won't embed. So, the only option is to just paste the link and members can download it to view.

No worries, they mentioned in their post they were going to try Youtube.

Just posting a link from something like Catbox is probably the easiest depending on the size of the file they want to up load.

Cheers, yeah, I read that, but I don't know if the OP has:

a) a YouTube account,
b) knows how to upload his own videos and thus creates his own Channel, to then be able to...
c) embed it here.

Ok so I uploaded it to catbox but can’t figure out what to do with it from there.

I’m going to try YouTube, and we’ll see how that goes.
