Let me tell you all something when you see federal agents doing their job stay far way from them, you don't have the right or a duty to interfere with them. This is not Germany we are not Nazi's all you are seeing is our actual laws being enforced. I understand you are not used to that but get over yourself these operations are not overreach or sinister in any way, I know you want to paint enforcing our laws as bad it just simply isn't. I did some research into ICE funding.
It's larger than most countries military budget. That tell me 2 things.
One, we have a focused and well funded law enforcement agency that does seem to operate with their own set of rules 
And two, welcome to the police state.

The proposed US military budget for FY 2025 is $895.2 billion, with an additional $150 billion in supplemental funding under consideration, bringing the total to nearly $1 trillion for FY 2025

Total funding: ICE received $28.7 billion for fiscal year 2025.

2.8% of US military budget..... looks pretty insignificant to me when compared to the U.S. military budget which the U.S. is the size of the entire continent of Europe. If you compare to a smaller country it's kind of silly don't you think? Of course the numbers would look off then. You'd be looking at a budget for a country 50 times smaller. Doesn't make sense.

Just saying, if your going to compare a budget, the country you are comparing should be a relative size to the other. Like comparing a budget for a 3 person family to a 150 person family.

One of the things that I am witnessing here is that neither pole of the politicial belief spectrum is allowed to ask questions of the opposition. There was a clearly defined question, "What was this individual doing that others weren't?" That question does not state that ICE was correct in the way they acted, nor does it give ICE authority to act in the manner they did... It was merely an inquiry to the actual facts of the matter in an effort to... well....

You can clearly see a 67 year old man (who was seated in his car) being accosted by a group of over zealous ICE agents, he was a US citizen and not an illegal immigrate.  Asking silly questions repeatedly to derail a thread is a typical tactic to turn the thread into a 'bitching fest'.
