It affects all kinds of people too. Young, old, well read vs headline readers, right and left. 

I think that some people have to believe there’s always a battle between good and evil so they can pick a side and try to defeat evil. It’s a hard pill to swallow that all the politicians we’ve seen in recent history are bought by the donor class. 

That’s who they all serve. That’s why we have barely seen any white collar crimes pursued by both parties. The bankers gambled our whole economy, got it wrong, and they kept their bonuses while Americans went jobless and homeless. Not a single one went to jail even though there was obvious crime with the audit bureaus.

Insider trading rampant in politics, both sides point it out, but it remains in the open.

They all share the same donors, and those opportunists switch sides to whoever won. Big tech even got to fly to China with the official US delegation party. 

They’re all friends at the end of the day.
