Willow Grove Farm, Victoria, Australia - February 15th, 1963.

Dairy Farmer Charles Brew.
Australian dairy farmer Charles Brew witnesses 'beautiful' flying object emitting a humming sound 'like a didgeridoo'.
Apparently a rotating, disc shaped object came down over a tree and completely freaked out all the cows, horses and dogs who then ran off - afterwards the witness developed a strange headache and there was a reduction in milk production from the cows.

Reading through that NICAP report now, will post if I find something interesting. I heard animals behave pretty much to telepathy the same way they ordinarily behave.
The flocking behavior of birds are curious. I was watching some pigeons, feeding on the ground they will all instantly crash together in loud cacophony when there is danger. A threat from the air will make them fan out in all directions. Fish also swim in perfect harmony, interesting stuff.

I think reports having more than one animal present is valuable. Animals do not all react the same way to the unknown, one cat might bolt and run away, while another clings to it's owner. If they all behave the same way it would be strange and indicate that something was effecting them. The person would never know if their own reactions was natural or would only know much later, directly of the event there would be shock and awe further confusing things.
This sounds interesting from the paper. Phantom rain.
Quote:It was heavily overcast at 10 minutes after four on the afternoon of
November 17, 1954. Iden K. Zimmerman was standing by the railing of gate
number six of the Willamette Falls Locks in Oregon City, Óregon. His body was
just under the roof of a shed. His hands were resting on the railing. He was
wearing gloves, a heavy shirt and jacket. Then he felt something like "icy rain
on his hands, "wind driven, but there was-no wind." The unusual fall seemed to
penetrate his clothing and gloves "as thougli my arms were bare." He felt the
same thing on his legs, from the knees dowin,
Looking up, he saw a bright orange object as large as the full moon flying in a
straight line from west to east. It disappeared over the Crown Zellerbach Paper
Mill roof.
Zimmerman examined the lock gate's wooden deck and cement walks but
"could find no trace of rain drops on them." Nor was there any moisture. on his
clothing or body.
"Shortly after this experiencé (15 minutes) I began to feel light headed and dizzy,"
the witness stated in a letter to the NICAP Director. "I seemed to have
difficulty in maintaining my balance. [It was] hard to keep my feet under me,
like standing in water a bit over waist deep. It felt as though I had suddenly been
relieved of about half ny weight. I felt like a gas bag looks when it has had
almost enough gas pumped into it to make it rise. I had the feeling that if I had
had another shot of the rain I could have walked on ajr.... The effects wore off
in about an hour, slowly.at first, thon more rapidly so that the sudden return to
normal was noticable.

Nice one mate, certainly think it's an important aspect and also quite a few bizarre examples in this news-clipping collection from Loren E. Gross.
In one incident hospital lights were dimming and parakeets were going completely bonkers.
Quote:• “It couldn’t have been anything else [but a UFO]. It hovered above Grossmont Hospital, not doing much, just staying still. It was pulsating with its lights flicking off and on. Lights seemed to be dimming all around the hospital – streetlights and parking lights. It was almost as if it was draining energy from those lights,” she said.... “It was completely white and had an outline like a saucer... My parakeets were going crazy. They were screeching at the top of their lungs. Dogs were barking everywhere.”

Agreed mate and differing reactions and differing species do need to be taken into account - did spot this article where Carl Feindt was quoting Woodward on fish (also thought this pic deserved a repost).
Quote:Fish Reactions to a UFO.
Fish also have been reported to react to a UFO that is in or near the water. Fish have the same senses as we humans: vision, excellent senses of smell and taste that serve as a sensitive chemical sensing of their environment, touch, and hearing. Additionally, the lateral line of the fish is very sensitive to vibrations, even very low frequency vibrations (beneath human detection). Fish are cold blooded and so are vulnerable to any sudden changes in water temperature. Some reports suggest fish are trying to escape from what they might consider a predator, to yet other instances where they seem attracted to the UFOs presence.

Also really enjoyed this discussion and UFO animal reaction does get brought up - there's also a really curious quote read from Robert Burton's book 'The Anatomy Of Melancholy' (published in 1621) that appears to do a good job describing UFO high strangeness phenomena.
See 32:10
Cheers.

The Richards family (and dogs) encounter a truly bizarre UFO.
Quote:• "I had my doghouse outside and them dogs scurried up under the building and stayed until the whole evening was over - they didn't bark at all - no Siree!"

i am slowly working through your amazing first hand encounters video presentations...kudos to folks who put an effort to make them and to you who post them.
Some cases are familiar to me. Another take on those gives me another angle.

Appreciate the post mate and there's definitely quite a number of truly freaky (and global) AR UFO accounts out there - some of which may contain some kind of clue as to what on earth is going on.
Did find that initial interview with Zimmerman really intriguing and noticed that Dr Hynek video has now been made private so here's another video link.
Don't know what was going on with those rabbits but it's almost like an episode of the Twilight Zone.
