Well if you believe in the alien hybrid and ancient alien theories, they've already decided long ago that we were irresistible in our DNA makeup (and maybe form) that they wanted to combine DNAs for the ultimate ever-advancing being. So sending out that probe of introduction and where to find us was not necessary.
