News:
"Why It's Dangerous to Avoid Tylenol While PregnantUntreated fevers during pregnancy can cause more harm than taking acetaminophen will"
"The advice has been rejected by physicians, medical organizations and health regulators in many countries, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the UK Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration. The World Health Organization said in a statement that there is no “conclusive scientific evidence confirming a possible link.” The drivers of ADHD and autism are complex and genetics plays a large part."
" There is some evidence that untreated high temperatures during pregnancy might increase the chance of autism and psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, because they can interfere with fetal brain development. Kennedy warns that raising fear around paracetamol use could also lead women to use pain relief that is not as safe. "I definitely think there will be some women who will be reluctant to take paracetamol during pregnancy because of these statements," she says, adding that other doctors have begun asking her for resources to provide to women expressing concerns about taking paracetamol during pregnancy."

So here we have it, the truth and nothing but the truth.
"Key takeaways: - Pregnant women can safely take Tylenol to relieve pain and fever at the normal recommended dosage.
- There’s significant evidence that Tylenol is the safest way to relieve pain and fever in pregnant women. Plus, leaving a fever untreated can be dangerous for expectant moms and their babies.
- Doctors say taking normal amounts of Tylenol during pregnancy does not cause autism or other health issues in kids."
"The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) confirms the safety of Tylenol in pregnancy, but also reminds expectant moms to take it only as needed, in moderation, and with approval from your healthcare provider."

I can now see how people can overdose on acetaminophen when it's also in other medications:
"Keep in mind that acetaminophen also shows up in combination medications that treat colds, headaches, and the flu. If you take those, check how much acetaminophen is included and add that amount to your daily tally. But always look at the full ingredient lists; some of the other medications in these multi-symptom formulas may not be safe to take during pregnancy."

Don't forget to bring your magnifying glass and drug encyclopedia to the dollar store when buying that stuff
And what happen to Tylenol is the definitive cause of autism? I thought that was the truth. Or at least that is what some bringer of light to the truth told me.

Not really, if people listen to their doctors advice then they won't have any issues. Listen to Trump and his unqualified health staff nonsense, then that there is where the dark and grey areas live.
Trump was pushing their particular brand of truth that Tylenol is the definitive cause of autism, without evidence as all health professionals worldwide agree on. Where have you been?

Well both those statements are lies.
My doctor prescribed Darvon. Sentencing me to a life of heart arrhythmia. Of course I know countless other people, F'd over by doctors. The biogen law suit does as well.
And no trump never said Tylenol was the definitive cause. But you claimed he did. BTW I like trump as much as I like you.

The whole world think Trump's speech was definitive, only you and some others here don't think it was...
"Yet Trump spoke as if the connection were definitive. He instructed pregnant women to avoid the drug. “Don’t take Tylenol. Don’t take it. Fight like hell not to take it,” he said."

BTW my fact checking and posting what most of the world considers to be the truth in this specific case does not depend on who I like or who I don't like, as you do.

The truth is Tylenol doesn't recommend taking it while pregnant which means they know it's not safe.

He did not say it was a "definitive cause of autism" They have studies that show high used of Tylenol can cause these issues and Tylenol is aware of it see that tweet they made?
