Trump upset over “Tone” of Parade?

Donald Trump was not impressed by his multimillion-dollar military parade.
The president reportedly “reamed” out Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the spectacle—which was advertised as a celebration of the Army’s 250th anniversary but conveniently fell on Trump’s birthday—as well as the soldiers who took part in it, according to biographer Michael Wolff.
Speaking with The Daily Beast’s podcast Monday, Wolff revealed that Trump was “pissed off at the soldiers.” He reportedly wanted the troops to appear “menacing,” but instead they were “having a good time,” per Wolff.
“He’s accusing them of hamming it up, and by that, he seems to mean that they were having a good time, that they were waving, that they were enjoying themselves and showing a convivial face rather than a military face,” the Fire and Fury author told the podcast.

Oooooooh man…. Everyone involved is probably getting absolutely destroyed at this very moment. 

I think Trump is seeing how Putin rules over Russia with an iron fist, and N.Korea and how other military’s looks absolutely locked in during ceremonies and wants something similar to that effect or at the very least just as this article implies. To seem menacing, comparably. I’ll be honest the marching didn’t look great in the clip I saw but I’m not judging, frankly I just don’t care anymore. Still I know the soldiers captured in some clips that went viral are probably getting smoked to another dimension lol.

I can see it now… DnC drills for the entire army for the next week straight, or something to that effect lol. 

I for one LOVED DnC, I have a ton of pride especially in uniform. So I think him being upset is understandable. Just my opinion.

I bet many of them feel bad that they are forced to parade around when a victory had not been had yet. I have no doubt that many if not all like you say are getting smoked at this very moment. But even with that said, they did not come home from war as the previous parade's had been for.
They did this because of the mission created by one man.

Don’t worry about moving it back, if you say his response to the parade is a “political” topic then so be it. 

In my opinion, outside of the quoted article mentioning his alleged reaction I felt this was more about military performance(or that’s how I drew this up in my mind lol) — Drill and Ceremony within the army to be particular.

So how would biographer Michael Wolff supposedly know about a private conversation between Trump and Hegseth?   It's not like Hegeth is going to go around spouting about how Trump is mad at him or tell people about private conversations like this.

Not buying this story without multiple well placed sources confirming it.

I will say the very first thing I noticed was that every unit after the Color Guard was out of step. There was a lack of cohesiveness noticable in the marching. Thats like day 1 training there...

If anything, this shows just how complaicant the U.S. military has become and how they don't take things seriously enough because they presume they are the top of the pile globally and don't need to try as individuals with respect.

Seperate the Tech from the people and we see who is serious about the job.

And this isn't about politics imo.
