Trump says he bombed Iran
Kuwait stumbled upon an IRGC infiltration attack on an island near the coast linked to a port deal with China. A firefight ensued, and two of four operatives were taken into custody while the other two escaped. A Kuwaiti guard sustained serious injuries.

The elite IRGC operatives reportedly tried to enter the Gulf state by sea, per Kuwait state news agency KUNA. A firefight ensued, and the ministry later confirmed one member of Kuwait’s armed forces was seriously wounded in resulting clashes with the infiltrating small group of Iranians.
The Interior Ministry accused the IRGC operatives of seeking to launch "hostile" activities inside Kuwait. "Confession of the infiltration group to Kuwaiti territories during interrogation with them of their affiliation to the Revolutionary Guard in the Islamic Republic of Iran," the ministry stated.

It appears that only two of the Iranian group are in custody while two escaped, per an initial statement. As for the operatives in custody, "They confessed to being tasked with infiltrating Bubiyan Island aboard a fishing boat rented specifically to carry out hostile acts against Kuwait," the official Kuwaiti statement added.
Other sources, including the defense ministry, say that all four have been detained and identified, amid early conflicting reports:
Quote:Kuwait’s Defense Ministry reported on May 3 that naval Col. Amir Hossein Abdolmohammad Zaraei, naval Col. Abdolsamad Yedaleh Ghanavati, naval Capt. Ahmad Jamshid Gholamreza Zolfaghari and 1st Lt. Mohammad Hossein Sohrab Foroughi Rad had been arrested in territorial waters after attempting to infiltrate Bubiyan Island.
Kuwaiti Armed Forces stationed on Bubiyan Island exchanged fire with the men during the confrontation, resulting in severe injuries to one service member.
Bubiyan is the largest of a group of eight islands belonging to Kuwait, lying in the north-western corner of the Persian Gulf. Importantly, the large island is home to Mubarak Al Kabeer Port, part of China's Belt and Road initiative.

Trump and Xi?

Quote:BEIJING (AP) — President Donald Trump is set to leave on Tuesday for Beijing to meet with President Xi Jinping after weeks of trying, and failing, to persuade the Chinese government to use its considerable leverage to prod Iran to agree to U.S. terms to end the 2-month-old war — or, at the very least, reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

And why would they do that for us?

Their oil has gotten through...

They can help Iran deadlock this and increase the US headache and ineffectiveness as they go.  This war alienates us more globally abd hurts our own domestic prices, so my guess is China wants THAT self-isolation and pain at the pump to continue.

But If Trump really wants the Chinese pressure, he could always deploy the Ultimate Chinese Appeasement Move...

"You know, Xi, I'm considering closing the US embassy in Taipai and moving it to Beijing. Now let's talk mutual need for  semiconductors."

He's be the president to pull that about face.  He liked Kim Jung Un enough to find mutual interests and drop the guy they used as propaganda and left brain dead, so maybe theres a deal to throw Taiwan recognition under a Hong Kong double-decker One China bus?

Cbhihis program. For whatever reason, he covers Pakistan's part on the chessboard and how their granting China port access in the Arabian sea with a pipeline to China is an effort to reduce China's exposure to closure of the Malacca straight in Indonesia. There has been massive rail, highway, telecom and power infrastructure invested into Pakistan for this reason as well. It will be not just for oil and energy,  but freight and material goods as well. Many of these deals were signed while US foreign policy was distracted elsewhere. Mostly he also outlines how this affects insurance risk pricing, new marittime and supply chain routes through there etc.. etc..

Indian perspective on this alliance between China and Pakistan, and apparently Turkey as well.

Some of the claimed alliances make sense but I can't see Turkey joining as they're a NATO member.

India is at war with Pakistan and China with regular border clashes over territory.

China is trying to broker a deal between the Taliban and Pakistan to stop the conflict and is starting to flex its power in trying to reach an agreement. They aren't under any pressire though as they're still getting oi; through the straight or via the silk road.

With Trump in China, we have news coming out that China has sent weapons to Iran, and they are planning to ship more through other countries to try and disguise their origin.
Quote:US intelligence indicates Chinese companies have discussed sending weapons to Tehran via third countries to disguise their origins, The New York Times reported. Officials disagree on whether they have already done so.

The revelation will pile pressure on Mr Trump to urge Xi Jinping to cut off Chinese support for the Islamic Republic, which appears to be rearming during the uneasy ceasefire with the US and Israel.US media reported in April that China had sent shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles known as Manpads, which can destroy aircraft and drones, to Tehran. So far, no Chinese weapons are thought to have been used against American troops.

This could mean going to 50% tarifs.

Did the other three countries admit that this is true, or rather did the same intelligence agency investigate these other countries to determine if in fact it is true?

Looks like they're starting to use the weeks away line. I find it an odd angle to take considering Trump said that their nuclear capabilities were obliterated in the summer, setting them back years. The press had talked about the possibility of some enriched uranium being moved and the White House came out with a press release calling all skepticism of the obliteration fake news.

This time around, we've won 15 times and said we have eyes on the enriched uranium... Saying we can see if someone approaches it from afar.

We can't trust Iran, we can't trust the Admin, and we can't trust the MSM.... That's the sad reality we live with in the golden age of information.

I don't know how we're supposed to gauge who's winning the war but I think we can deduce the economic impact by the narrative shift
