What the hell does 'tone down the fighting' mean between Israel and Hezbollah, as is in the news?

Lol I guess it means stop where you, dig in and wait for further advice / instruction. Whether Bibi listens is another thing. He seems to be getting a bit bolshy these days, he thinks he can over rule Trump all of a sudden. I don't think he realises that Trump is the controlling card, then again, is he?

Especially so where the Middle East is concerned.

They're on a mission and I don't think the whole world combined can stop them. By transplanting half their people into the most powerful country in recorded history there is nothing anybody else can do. As long as they control parts of the the political and economic sphere then expect lots more of the same. Those 'birthright' programmes, brainwashing young kids from New York that the land was given to them by G-d and it is their right to recolonise it. It's something to watch. Hundreds of American kids being brainwashed by the instructors. Next stop IDF service. Who knows they for themselves are doing the right thing. I don't know. I just observe. Yet it's unstoppable. They are literally on a mission and as an observor it’s inredible to watch. They're up for it. Really up for it. A few backwards militaries and stone throwers are not going to stop them. Nothing is going to change.

I understand where you’re coming from, truly. In a fashion it is incredible to watch. Like a hurricane bearing down on a rubber raft in the middle of the ocean.

Yet. The story hasn’t played out entirely. And Trump ain’t gonna be 47 forever.

Also, 80 years ago or so has kinda led us to here, where Israel feels this is their time to shine as I said. After all they continue to tell us they’ve been through. Nothing like imparting your collective trauma and history on the world as it watches in horrified resentment. It’s their right to bomb women and children damnit! Stupid Hamas not disarming when the Bored of Peace told them too! How else are they gonna relax in those palatial beach-fronts after decimating their many enemies?!

But yeah, we shall see. Supposedly “Might makes Right”, but America is still the wild-card.

Thankfully. Actually scratch that. “For better or worse” is more appropriate here…

Russia's former president said that multiple countries are poised to provide Iran with nuclear warheads after the U.S. launched strikes against three Iranian nuclear facilities.

"The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue," Dmitry Medvedev, now the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, said in a Sunday X post. 

"A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads," Medvedev said. 

Medvedev did not list specific countries that might pitch in and support Iran. However, Russia historically has backed Iran's nuclear program. Russian President Vladimir Putin also offered to mediate peace talks between Iran and Israel on Wednesday. 

Moscow also has offered to intervene and help negotiate a nuclear deal between the U.S. and Iran.

Oh 100% mate, it's just unreal. If you study the noble families of the UK in the Victorian era, certain elements were getting extremely wealthy through business yet wanted more control through the ruling elite. They married their offspring into our Norman families, who back then were often broke and desperate for cash injection. It was notorious how our arstocracy suddenly took on the look of Italians. I'm not going into genetics here yet the new rich married their way into our system, now if you move on to the modern era and look at say the States and whose marrying into famiies like the Trumps then its game on again. Don's got Kushner as a son in law / come foreign secretary, golfing buddy Whitkpf as another 'buddy' come foreig advisor / negotiator. We are seeing the same thing as happened here back in Victoria's time. Crazy, but true.
