Ummm...  Donald Trump?

Is this a trick question?
Quote:Anti-establishment populism paints the true people as hard-working victims of a state run by special interests and outsiders as political elites. Although all forms of populism rail against political elites, anti-establishment populism distinguishes itself by focusing on establishment elites as the primary enemy of the people and does not sow as many intra-society divisions,”

Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.

He unfortunately has a lot of follow through this time. The populism he appeals to see only the action they wanted.

That is why it is easy to use wild, often unfounded conspiracies and religious paranoia to define the enemy elites, their ideologies, and create a hostile populist hellscape towards the evil progressism which must be crushed to fulfill his populist antiestablishment promises.

He's definitely that incarnate, but his enemies are usually  scapegoats of phobia, and it comes off more like an ideological purge of exaggerated enemies, and by extension the people who share their progressive goals.

Just because you have a vendetta against Trump, does not mean he has dementia. What signs does he shows? What signs did you ignore with Biden? ie. glass houses....

Really?? Someone's blind faith for their dear leader is showing....

  • Donald Trump will attend his "routine yearly" physical exam on Oct. 10 — his second in six months
  • Trump's first annual physical was in April, at which time the White House physician said Trump was in "excellent health"
  • The president's health has been at the center of speculation, especially with his recent diagnosis and a recurring bruise on his hand

Leading mental health experts, including a former White House doctor, have expressed alarm over Donald Trump’s mental faculties, suggesting he’s showing signs of “cognitive decline.”
Several experts told The Independent their concerns about the Republican presidential nominee are similar to those they had about President Joe Biden before he dropped out of the race, warning Trump appears to “have lost touch with reality,” as exhibited by the 78-year-old’s “rambling” speeches and “erratic” debate performance.
They join a growing number of mental health professionals calling for independent and objective cognitive testing as November’s election edges closer.

That was on full display at Monday night’s rally in Pennsylvania, where Trump was mocked for his “word salads.”He said of Kamala Harris: “She had the other interview with the other guy who was a nice guy I think from Philadelphia from Pennsylvania, he was a nice guy, he was asking her all these [inaudible] — the daily take — they don’t take like I do! Anybody wants to go, go what the hell differences they make — they have — and how dishonest was ABC...”

“There’s a term when you’re talking about people with dementia called sundowning, it’s a lot harder for them as the day goes on,” he said, suggesting it appeared Trump could have been experiencing those symptoms.
“It’s very difficult for them to maintain focus on a topic,” he continued. “The idea of being able to maintain that level of focus for that amount of time, that late in the day…you wouldn’t think twice about it if that was your grandfather. It’s just he happens to be running for president.”

An expert has identified four signs that suggest U.S. President Donald Trump may be in the early stages of dementia. Concerns about the president's mental health have been raised due to noticeable changes in his behavior since he resumed office in January 2025.
Dr. John Gartner, a specialist in the field, has observed that Trump, now 79, appears to be slowing down, with potential impairment in his motor skills. This observation follows sightings of Trump allegedly wearing a catheter under his right pant leg, which Gartner suggests could indicate the president is suffering from a specific type of dementia known as frontotemporal dementia.

On ATS people would do this to try to belittle what the other person was writing because they had no actual comeback to defend their position.

Your first link literally says the same thing I said, 2 physicals in 6 months since taking office......someone's blind hatred for Trump is showing

The only "signs" they are focusing on is the speculation he has a catheter and that he is favoring a leg. HE IS 80 YEARS OLD. Those are just "signs" of being old, most people when they get to be that age are going to be limping or favoring one of their legs.

I don't think you, or the "doctor" writing that piece know what dementia looks like. As someone that has lost several relatives to that disease, your ignorance is not appreciated.

You really do like to attack posters don't you??
Trumps has had his 'yearly' physical twice now in one year, and then theirs his strange bruises. If this was Biden, you'd all be jumping all over this as some sort of cover up!!

As I've lost some one very close to me with dementia, you can shove your "ignorance" where the sun don't shine.  Grin

Not attacking you, pointing out your obvious ignorance and bias that shows your utter distain for someone just because they are accomplishing exactly what he was voted in for....  If you feel attacked, that is on you

We begged Biden to take more physicals and mental evaluations, he refused or hid the results of those tests. They are not the same thing

If that is true, how can you even begin to think that the TWO "signs" outlined in your "articles" are dementia? Ignorance is bliss, huh?

My husband is 65.  The primary care physician has put him on a physical every six months because of his age.  This is standard practice for the primary care physician when people enter older age.   My 90 year old mother was put on having a physical every 4 months.   I don't think anyone 'of age' having a physical two or three times a year is unexpected.

The fact that you claim you've lost people to Dementia and can't see the signs in Trump shows your cognitive bias is blinding you. The fact that you tried to infer I don't know how to spot it is a personal attack, and not an attack on the story. Something all Trumpers seem to relish in, maybe that's because they aspire to be like their dear leader??

You have not been able to name any actual signs of his "dementia", even when asked several times.....

There is no actual evidence that he is catheterized. Even if he was, that is no sign of dementia, you can be catheterized for millions of reasons.

Limping and favoring one leg, is a sign of old age or joint issues. Very rarely is that even thought to be linked to dementia. But again, he is almost 80, he is going to limp or favor limbs. But hey, at least he can walk up stairs, unlike the former admin.....

I am not inferring anything, you have not proven anything except your complete lack of evidence to support your biased claims. Yes, all dementias are the same. But, again, you have ignored previous admins obvious signs and want to attack someone who shows no signs.

If you feel like providing actual evidence to show his "dementia" diagnosis, lets take a look. But, you have yet to do so at this time.
