I think republicans are to blame for the illegal alien problem as well.

That being said; enforcing existing laws is not fascism.

We're a ways off from fascism. But not being close to fascism doesn't mean it's OK to find ways and loopholes from abiding by the constitution. 

This sort of trajectory could make really unfavorable styles of government happen very quick. Not just fascism.

 PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A federal judge in Oregon temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s administration from deploying the National Guard in Portland, ruling Saturday in a lawsuit brought by the state and city.

U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut, who was appointed by Trump during his first term, issued the order pending further arguments in the suit. She said the relatively small protests the city has seen did not justify the use of federalized forces and allowing the deployment could harm Oregon’s state sovereignty.

“This country has a longstanding and foundational tradition of resistance to government overreach, especially in the form of military intrusion into civil affairs,” Immergut wrote. She later continued, “This historical tradition boils down to a simple proposition: this is a nation of Constitutional law, not martial law.”

And then immediately deployed ours... Im guessing the judge only Blocked Oregon National Guard? He's gonna deploy something.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Sunday that he would sue the Trump administration after it federalized 300 California National Guard troops and deployed them to Oregon, just one day after a federal judge blocked President Donald Trump's attempt to deploy Oregon National Guard troops in Portland.

“In response to a federal court order that blocked his attempt to federalize the Oregon National Guard, President Trump is deploying 300 California National Guard personnel into Oregon. They are on their way there now," Newsom, a Democrat, said in a statement. "This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power. The Trump Administration is unapologetically attacking the rule of law itself and putting into action their dangerous words — ignoring court orders and treating judges, even those appointed by the President himself, as political opponents."

I blame Occupy Wall Street. The was such a potential threat to the moneyed class that they create two new social movements to protect their burgeoning plutocracy: an intolerant left-oriented race and sex-based DEI extremism, born out of the embers of successful radical feminism, driven through educational institutions that depend on rich donor money, and an intolerant right-oriented race and sex-based nationalistic ultra-american extremism, born out of the embers of the successful libertarian Ron Paul resurgence, driven through faith and political think-tanks that depend on rich donor money, and pitted them against each other, successfully turning a potential class war into an unending battle of left-vs-right, red-vs-blue, entirely occupying and containing any potential threat to their power. For all the outrageous blame casting and summoning of shibboleths, the finger of accusation now never ever points up, in any actionable way.
