I'm not sure we are considering the entire "What is Antifa in "practice?"
Are they a coherent set of individuals, acting towards a single principle, or code? Sort answer, I think.... no. That label is being used by the media as if we were living two decades ago when to everyone's surprise, the public finally realized that "al qaeda" was just a convenient label.... not a single movement. To a culture cured in the "centralized power" government... it is marketed as 'threat'... like the idea that there are communists in the world. I have no doubt this will circle back to a single planner or small cabal of planners... and they would NOT be concerned with "Antifa" much at all.
Moved elsewhere.
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama

I don't think it's peaceful when nutters are attacking federal employees like ICE. We already had innocent deaths in Texas, we don't need any more in Oregon.
Portland police arrest 13 people in this period for crimes such as arson, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, with 10 alone the night of June 12. Several people use a stop sign as a makeshift battering ram and break the front door of the ICE building. the police are not being allowed to do their jobs (typical) due to 'sanctuary' policies June 15: Portland Mayor Keith Wilson, reacting to troop deployment in Los Angeles, says Portland does not need the help or presence of National Guard troops. June 19: The last time Portland police make an arrest in the protests, bringing the total to 25. June 24: Portland police chief tells members of the Portland City Council that his agency is looking at ways to scale back its policing of ICE protests. The same night, a Portland police team observing a protest says in a debrief, “if it were not ICE, we could assist directly,” according to a police activity log. Since the police are not allowed, and the mayor is disallowing help, of course the feds have to step in. Residents are complaining. One woman of the apartments nearby has burst eardrum due to the protestor's use of sound weapons. https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/2025...l-now.html

Its obvious that Trump is simply attempting to stop the use of the name Antifa to spread violent ideology. Names can carry weight and what once stood for something good could now be poisoned and used for evil. In fact, I would say there is no could, it IS being used to carry out evil no different than any other "terrorist" organization no matter the decentralization of its "cells". If you can see further down the road and see a future problem, you end it now before it escalates. I think people are focusing too much on what Antifa stood for in the past when true dictator fascists ruled and not realizing its being used now to brainwash youth into tearing down a government that is not. Its not, because they would have already been killed on sight. Dictators dont bargain. They crush you without mercy. Dont drink the kool-aid

As I stated earlier, Antifa is just the militant arm of the Democrat party.
