I know Trump partly just wants to stop liberal academics from instilling the Lebanon-Styled propaganda at universities, as an extension of killing the woke. And that is somewhat true. Kids need to be persuaded to start marching.

Use to be college kids went commie, now it's something new to break status quo with. And Norman Finklestein and Pro-Arab teachers won the minds of our youth.

It's a mistake to use it as an example, though. It's just more hippes not trusting anything that isn't the underdog.

Honestly, like Putin, it seems like Trump is just using some insincere crocodile antisemitism tears (a fake love of Israel and Jews) to do something else.

And I think that is to create a legal precedent for criminalizing protests arbitrarily on the definition of what the president defines as a threat.
