Sending EU troops straight into Ukraine risks dragging the whole continent into a third world war.

That's why providing weapons and aid is the safer, smarter option.

It lets Ukraine defend itself without NATO troops on the front line.

And as far as im aware, Ukraine's government changes through elections, Russia's doesn’t, which is rather a big difference.

As for energy, totally agree Europe relied too much on Russia in the past, but that's exactly why Putin thought he could get away with this.

People like Trump who are claiming this world order is somehow bad for the US don't understand economics.

The US is over 37 trillion in debt. Interest payments are reaching a trillion dollars.

The debt is not a problem by itself. As long as the dollar retains its position as global reserve currency the US can easily keep financing its interest payments AND huge military budget. Just have to be careful the debt to GDP ratio doesn't grow too much.

Of course, the US is not being careful right now. The result of its erratic and economically unsound policy is that in the short term foreigners are going to be thinking twice before buying treasury bonds which will make it more expensive for the US government to run a deficit, and in the long term the dollar's position is under threat.

That includes ever man women and child and most likely illegal. Worlometer says 347 million population, and the central brain says 171 million working population. And my guess is. About 50 million of them are working poor. Which means it will probably take them a couple decades of ever penny they make to come up with their share.

Appease?  No.
Admit the reality that he won (stole) that land and it's his?  Yes.
Sucks.  But that's the fact of it.
Zellensky can't win.

If Europe wants an endless war it'll have to man up and send it's troops and it's money.
And that will cause Russia to invade more lands including those countries.   Just leave
America out of it.   It's Europes backyard and if they want an endless war and to make 
this thing bigger .. that's not our problem.

If the government would spend better it would be gone as well.
They waste most of what we taxpayers give them.
