it definitely looks like a battle of attrition to me from that stand point and judging from the troops in play plus sustainability the odds are against ukraine

I think people should speculate on what happens when Russia acquires ukraine what superpower would they become then. With a birthing rate of 2.5 or more when the families move back. Ukraine could be a bigger deal than it seems.

On the contrary, I think wars of attrition last a long time. Its definitely going to last until Putin is satisfied, unless someone intervenes it seems he's holding all the cards. For all i know, he will be satisfied with 20% in Alaska, but i doubt it, because he's winning so far. Ukraine will have to kill at twice the rate. Not impossible. Hmmmm. I do know that a company I am invested in makes defensive weapons for ukraine. I wonder if their stock raises and falls with losses during the war. Some might think Ukraine is winning but until that 20% becomes 0 i would say otherwise because it started with 0% Russian control. Technically to be winning it seems like ukraine would have to occupy a piece of Russia yeah?

Zelenskyy says Trump-Putin summit will achieve nothing, vows Ukraine will not give up land

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the planned summit between U.S. President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that any peace deal excluding Kyiv would lead to "dead solutions."
 
In a statement posted to Telegram, Zelenskyy said Ukraine's territorial integrity, enshrined in its constitution, must be non-negotiable and emphasized that lasting peace must include Ukraine's voice at the table.
 
Zelenskyy said Ukraine "will not give Russia any awards for what it has done" and that "Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier."

Putin invaded a free, sovereign, and non-aggressor country.

Acceptance of that, is approval. Trump-stein is too weak to simply stand up and say that Putin is in the wrong and to force him to pay reparations.

The Russian army and mercenary forces have done damage to Ukraine and have killed non-combatants.

The leader of any country that initiates warfare against a non-aggressor should have to suffer consequences.

Putin's junta should all be prosecuted for their war crimes.

Trump-stein has his own moral failures to address and should stop trying to cover them up by directing attention elsewhere.

NATO f**ked up big on all occasions. First when Russia took Crimea (under Obama), and again when Russia kept invading further (under Biden). They could have stopped the WHOLE thing in 48 hours when Putin started his easy taking. Now there's no way Ukraine keeps any land lost

I agree, but Trump allowing Putin to lay down demands in a face to face meeting before acknowledging Ukraine's needs in a peace talk, is playing right into Putin's hands.

How is that playing into Putin's hands? 

You can't be calling for a ceasefire, truce, and peace for months, and when Russia signals, they will meet in Alaska, just ignore them, you have to listen. Otherwise...
