They were in kyiv in 2022 is that real enough? They still occupy 20% of ukraine is that real enough yet? Thats 1/5. Ukraine has lost about 50,000 troops so far 2025 out of 700,000, is it real enough? They have to spread that out over the 4/5 left. Russia has twice the forces but cant send those forces because they cant protect their country if they do. They can however keep breeding and making more soldiers and seem to be pretty determined to do so and I dont think Ukraine is breeding soldiers at that rate so this becomes a battle of attrition. Ukraine will fall. Its only a matter of time, unless Putin just turns around and gives up for some unforeseen reason. Ukraine's forces isnt sustainable is that real enough? I hope it got real.

Do you mean the armoured column headed for Kyiv and the attempt to take a nearby airport in the first week of the War?
Which failed, big time?
They ain't been back since.

They'll be back soon enough. Unless other countries start supplying their troops.

Because it's terrorism.
They are not killing enough civilians to affect Ukraine's manpower by doing that.

He's running rings around Trump and making him look like a mug.
Yes...literally every statement from him on the matter. They've been pretty vocal about what they want before they lay down arms. Ukraine will lose the 4 oblasts that had referendums...regardless how you or I or Zelensky feels about the legitimacy of said referendums. They will comit to not joining NATO...and there was a handful of other smaller conditions...but those are the 2 big ones. Ukraine is not in the position to dictate anything...and anything Russia does negotiate on will be because they want to. Unless Western countries put troops in the fight there is no real leverage. Sanctions don't seem to work...there are enough nations buying oil and gas that told the US to pound sand that, that won't work. So here we are watching a slow motion trainwreck full of death and destruction...and sad to say but your and my countries caused this when they used a coup we backed and funded to try and take Ukraine as our own puppet. It didn't work out and now the regular joe in Ukraine and Russia will pay the price for the games our nation played.
