One was in 2006 by a member called rand. It was amusingly titled something along the line of "the terrible truth about UFOs". Basically his assertion was that the UFO wave of sightings and flaps of the 1940s were caused by the CIA launching a lot of disused WWII blimps which violated the airspace of other countries. He went into minute detail about how observers had misidentified quite mundane blimps. It was a wonderful read as he meticulously countered every attempt to negate his theory.
Then there was a more recent thread from around 2022/23 about Phoenix Lights by a member called BoneZ. Again he went into detail on how the official explanation of military flares was correct and how eyewitness accounts can be entirely inaccurate. He completely won me over as previously I'd always thought Phoenix Lights had to be either some kind of exotic technology (not sure whose) or a monumental VTOL stealth blimp as was long rumored (TR6 Telos).
