Learn how to read.

I stated the truth .... Luther wanted to change the bible and wanted the 10 commandments out.

And I never said that Christians are subject to those laws.  Not once.
So I don't know why you even bothered to bring it up and throw it in my face.
Christians don't have to follow any of those Old Testament laws.
They aren't for Christians.  They are for Hebrews.

neener neener.   Lol

Well then I stand corrected

Proof right there that religion was invented as a means control. Either that or Moses was talking to the demiurge and not the true god. Still it was and is a very effective means of control, how else would people believe in such mumbo jumbo 2 thousand years+ later?
Fear of punishment and damnation and reward for obedience seems to be a very powerful motivator.

Have you also been conditioned to believe that when a wife sleeps with another man, and her husband gets jealous, her husband is just being needy?

Our Creator feels rightful jealousy when we attribute praise, honour and worship, which He deserves, to a stone sculpture made by the vain imagination of a man, which can't speak, see, hear, or even think, and has to be carried. All the while it is He who gives you your next breath.

The lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death, may well be a cleansing fire Jesus put upon the place/within and without your essence of your second death to help cleanse and guide those that were/are lost.

If God did speak to mortal man, then if mortal man could not understand Jesus' teachings, then it is highly doubtful mortal man interpreted God's word with accurate meaning let alone understanding.

"(3) Jesus says:
(1) “If those who lead you say to you: ‘Look, the kingdom is in the sky!’ then the birds of the sky will precede you.
(2) If they say to you: ‘It is in the sea,’ then the fishes will precede you.
(3) Rather, the kingdom is inside of you and outside of you.”
(4) “When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father.
(5) But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty.”"

"(5) Jesus says:
(1) “Come to know what is in front of you, and that which is hidden from you will become clear to you.
(2) For there is nothing hidden that will not become manifest.”"

The gospel of "Thomas" is not part of the Bible.

Can you please also amend your post. You are quoting text as though I wrote it when I didn't.

I didn't quote you, I interpreted, so no amending is necessary.

The gospel of "Thomas" is part of Jesus' teachings which should not be ignored to push a narrative, which is what the Bible does.

No it's not.
It's been condemned as a fake by educated Christian theologians, both Catholic and Protestant, for 2,000 years.

Some of the wacky fake 'gospel of Thomas' stuff

Quote:The so-called Gospel of Thomas is a fake. It was written between one and two centuries after the apostle Thomas’s death. It contains some authentic sayings of Jesus because it is partially based on the canonical Gospels. It contains a bunch of stuff that is silly. It wasn’t written under divine inspiration. It doesn’t belong in the Bible.

Why we shouldn't trust the non-canonical gospels attributed to Thomas

Quote:Bart Ehrman argues the Gospel of Thomas is a 2[sup]nd[/sup] Century Gnostic text based on the lack of any reference to the coming Kingdom of God and return of Jesus. The earliest leaders of the Church also recognized the Gospel of Thomas was a late, inauthentic, heretical work. Hipploytus identified it as a fake and a heresy in “Refutation of All Heresies” (222-235AD), Origen referred to it in a similar way in a homily (written around 233AD), Eusebius resoundingly rejected it as an absurd, impious and heretical “fiction” in the third book of his “Church History” (written prior to 326AD), Cyril advised his followers to avoid the text as heretical in his “Catechesis” (347-348AD), and Pope Gelasius included the Gospel of Thomas in his list of heretical books in the 5th century.

Of course it's condemned because Jesus' teachings go far above and beyond, above and below, to finding the true path to the creator and that would make the narrative pushers and the churches redundant. I suppose they could find a mount to push their narratives.

The reasons for why the lost gospels were rejected, considering the times and culture, is obvious.

.. yeah .. cuz they are cheap obvious fakes.

Nowadays writings like that are called 'historical fiction'.   Fiction writers take historical events or historical people and wrap fake stories around them.   They sprinkle in a little truth and some pretty words to make it appealing, but in the end it's fake and not true.  Just made up.

Well, it's not made up to me and I will continue my quest to learn all I can of Jesus' teachings from all sources even if they are controversial.

No

Our creator is far beyond the emotions of humanity, there is nothing for the creator to be jealous of, because it is all its creation.

Can't learn about Jesus from false sources.
All you do is learn about fictional stories.
It convolutes and distracts from the actual teachings.
