Was it covered Bob Heironimus claimed to be in the suit?  And there is video of him walking?

I have been looking hard and I wish I could find it.    I recall seeing an analysis of the Patterson film which zeroed in on muscular contraction, and I found it to be somewhat persuasive.   If anyone knows of that film, I'd like to look at it again, with seasoned eyes.

The dates aren't correct and I didn't want to alter someone else's work, but the anecdote seems worth reading, until recently his voyages to the 'new world' were thought of as just a fairy tale till archaeologists found evidence.

Almost nothing is correct in that text.

According to the two texts closest to that era (a couple of centuries or more after) Leif Eriksson only mentions one animal, salmons.

And no, they didn't call the creatures they didn't see "Skellring", they called "Skraeling" to the inhabitants of those lands, including Greenland.

Sure, but it's theoretically closely related to human..for the sake of argument.

I think they should have found at least a body by now, there would have to be some number to keep the species going, so it would be cool if it was real, but I'm not convinced either way.

Sure, but with so many similarities I doubt (although I don't have the scientific basis to really know) it could be a different species.

I doubt (yes, I'm full of doubts ) anyone can make a serious analysis with such bad copies of the film.

You make a good point, except for the fact that the 'Hobbit' (homo floresiensis) wasn't discovered till September 03, until then no one knew about it. Yet reports of little people were made by the people that live there, even though it went extinct 12,000 years ago. 
There's only been around 400 Neanderthals found yet the species covered half the planet, it's also known that there's at least one more unknown hominid species in our DNA.
That's why I remain on the fence, and find the subject so interesting.

Yes, in one of the video's I linked too, there is talk about Bob Heironimus, but a lot of people have dismissed this due to way he moves his feet, 'Patty' tends to bend her legs and raise her feet 90` to the floor, Bob tends to shuffle. Also some claim Bob showed up later to try to get in the 'Patty' video fame.  

This is what I find interesting about this, 60 years and the same arguments are still being debated. Not many videos have manged to stay with in the public's eye for so long, JFK's assassination is the only other video I can think of.

Because it's a translation and interpretation, it is hard to get a definitive version, there's always one or two differences. If Bigfoot is real then they are also the inhabitants! 

It was just an interesting anecdote, but I don't wish to promote something that's not accurate or a know fake.
