Well, I'm going to show my real colors.

I'm going to sit in the corner and enjoy my "redneck river snacks"

Pickled bologna, Cheese and crackers.  (sharp cheddar)

Always brought it on the kayaking trips down the river.

Ice tea, unsweetened.
Mr. Poops: Read a book, it's like broccoli for your brain.  (Are you even still around?)

The earth provides everything we need.  We thought we could do better.  We were wrong.

You can have yesterday's pie and mash?

Cornish pasties, yes.

Scones cream and jam too.

Just so long as you put the jam on top.
We (she! ha) made the kleftico lamb last night after marinating overnight. It was super good! Not amazing but really nice.  I think we overcooked the lamb a teeny bit. I like mine a bit red and this was almost no pink, but very tasty nonetheless.  Also interested in trying it without the cheese.
Cheers for the recco!

Jellied EelRecipe:

Step 1: Preparing the Eels
– Begin by cleaning the eels thoroughly, removing any dirt or slime.
– Skin the eels and chop them into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2: Cooking the Eels
– In a large saucepan, combine the fish stock, chopped onion, carrot, bay leaves, cloves, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
– Bring the mixture to a boil and then add the eel pieces.
– Reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 30-40 minutes until the eels are cooked through and tender.

Step 3: Making the Jelly
– Strain the fish stock, removing the vegetables and spices.
– Measure the stock and add gelatin accordingly, following the instructions on the gelatin packet.
– Stir the gelatin until it dissolves completely.

Step 4: Setting the Jelly
– Arrange the cooked eel pieces in a shallow dish or individual serving bowls.
– Pour the gelatin mixture over the eels, ensuring they are fully covered.
– Allow the dish to cool before placing it in the refrigerator to set for several hours or overnight.

Discard.

A nice salad:

Rocket leaves, sliced pear - cut into strips, crumbled blue cheese of your choice, walnuts.

For the dressing, just a simple vinaigrette with a tablespoon of fresh orange juice.

I like it with deep fried Calamari - don't overcook it or it will be rubbery!

Probably just a typo. If the S is dropped, UB can be allowed back in.
