[Image: https://www.lotusbiscoff.com/sites/defau...k=s_uO0h6w]How can a small cookie taste so great? The story of Lotus Biscoff starts in 1932 in a local bakery in Lembeke, a Belgian town. The unique recipe was brought to perfection with carefully selected natural ingredients. Today, Lotus Bakeries is still family-owned and based in its home town. And from there, the tasty cookie continues to conquer the world.

The only biccies I do in the Cafe are Digestives, for dunking in tea. The skill needed is to not dunk them too long or they'll get too soggy and will fall into your tea....

I havent followed footy in a few years cuz all the players I liked retired. and now there seems to be less skill and more money.

There's still skill, but yes, too much money.

Melody Gardot. An absolute jazz classic from a great artist.

Apologies for my crappy embedding skills, or lack thereof.

Well worth checking her stuff out.

Any takers for pie and mash?

What type of pie?
If its mince pie its got to be with good old Northern gravy.
But preferably pork pie in which case it has to be with mushy peas, bit of brown sauce - sorry to go on about it - or maybe a bit of English Mustard.

But seeing that its Good Friday we should all be having some good old traditional Fish and Chips and scraps.
Again, mushy peas wouldn't go amiss obviously with lashings of salt and vinegar and a couple of pickled onions.
I believe in this and its been tested by research, he who fucks nuns will later join the church.

Blimey, you Northerners....

Minced beef, potatoe mash and parsley sauce, or liquor.

For religious folk like you, we have beer battered Haddock, or Rock Salmon (aka Dogfish) with scraps (for Northern poor people) or proper chips deep fried in beef dripping, mushy peas and a large pickled onion or pickled egg?

Any Jocks about?

I can rustle up some deep fried battered Mars Bars or Haggis?

I'm quite partial to the latter.
