I was going to post a picture of what I had to eat, but it looked like a dog’s breakfast so no.
I crumbled and fried up some Chorizo with some Mixto (ground beef and pork), added some refritos (refried beans) or frijoles and mixed in some shredded cheese (cheddar, manchego and romano). Fantastic, but really doesn’t look that good….
If my wife was home she would call it blasphemy, ha!!!
Quite a sticky mess but good stick to the ribs meal in this weather.
Tecate
If it’s hot, wet and sticky and it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

Yeah, they still do those.
Run you about £10-£15 per serving, depending on the establishment these days.

Hey OC2, any chance of creating a new concoction using Tecate's Liqor 43 and naming it 'Hurkle-Durkle', the fact that one would want to to lay in bed most of the day or all day should give a guide to creating the recipe. lol
" Licor 43 is a Spanish liqueur made from a secret blend of 43 natural ingredients, including citrus fruits (orange, lemon), vanilla, coriander, green tea, and other aromatic herbs and spices. While the full recipe is a closely guarded family secret known only to three members of the founding Zamora family, the brand has confirmed these five components. The liqueur features a sweet citrus-vanilla flavor profile with notes of citrus peel, mature fruits, floral blossoms, and a hint of spice, all balanced by a smooth, syrupy texture. It has a crystalline golden hue and is bottled at 31% alcohol by volume (ABV). Despite its name and vanilla-like taste, Licor 43 does not contain actual vanilla beans—the flavor comes from the carefully balanced botanicals. "
Let me start with what I might add to make it a new concoction.
What goes good with herbs and spices with a forward citrus-vanilla flavor and syrupy texture? I'm thinking more line with adding heat and whiskey... still processing.

Never heard of Licor 43, but as a former barkeep and current drinker, I’m intrigued.
Can it be had stateside?
Reminds me of the house shot we had at my first bar.
Called Tuaca. An Italian liqueur. We served it chilled. Had a vanilla kinda thing goin on.
Not for everyone.
