The box didn’t shake cuz of the wind from the string, It shook cuz of the sound wave frequency.  The sound waves still exist without air, even if they can’t be heard.  Just ask any schizzo who hears voices from outer space (Mark 9:25)

Nobody is talking about wind, wind moves air from one place to another, the vibration we have been talking about "pushes and pulls" the air but it doesn't move it from one place to another, in the same way the guitar string didn't move from its place.

As for people that "hear voices from outer space", earing is personal thing, it's the way our brains interpret the signals received from the inner ear. Sound exists regardless of anyone earing it or not.

You're right, that was a wrong explanation, but the idea is the same: wind is air moving from one point to another, sound is the air (or any other medium) vibrating.

I don't remember anyone saying that. Air is one medium through which sound moves (it doesn't move sound, unless there's wind), but is not the only one. All solids, liquids and gases are mediums through which sound waves can propagate.

And yes, wind can move sound, as it moves the air from one place to another, that's why we can ear things from farther away when there's wind from the right direction.
