I too swing both ways too (lol) but only after doing my own research, as best as I can do, which isn't great. Then I end up usually back to man made, with great disappointment.

I know there are real alien craft and that government may have retrieved them, but it seems there is no way to penetrate that shadow realm. Yet!

I know less every day.

but I believe those that say they have seen these craft.

and this is why i like to ask experiencers "are you mandela-effected" because it is a sort of litmus test not necessarily to them and their experiences but rather to their reaction and how they express themselves, obvious some have never heard of it and that's something but also you get quiet nods, inscrutable smiles, jokes and minimization, careful presentation of neutral skepticism, personal anchor enumeration -- all sorts of reactions. very illuminating.

Sadly alcohol and PTSD don’t mix for me, makes me sick. Some with PTSD seem to go the opposite way.

it’s more the thought. Though I do drink an angry orchard or the like hard cider very rarely.

Hmm I got a different take; it look like it was just hot water being poured on? Which even with an inert metal ball with high specific heat wouldn't heat it up enough so you couldn't touch it. Couldn't see what they were trying to show, they're claiming the sphere boiled or sublimated the water somehow?

If it wasn't water, what could it be? Dichloromethane? Don't know if that make steam like that.

I have now had two encounters with these orbs. Unfortunately no pics since I was caught completely off guard. Fortunately someone saw the first one with me.

The first encounter was most odd. I felt the strong impression of being watched. I looked up at the leaves of a cottonwood branch that overhung a large outdoor deck. There it was! It was completely still. The person seated next to me looked up to see what I was looking at. It was grey, dull metallic in appearance. Perhaps the only reason I saw it was due to the light refraction of the sun at that moment in time.

After we left I had the strange impression that it was following us.

A few weeks later I was tidying up the deck before heading in for the night. I was alone. Suddenly two orbs lit up and floated down towards me as gradually as they could manage. Needless to say I was terrified. I had the impression that the intent was not to scare me. 
I did the most sensible thing and shut my eyes.
I couldn't run and I decided I didn't want to watch my demise. I did feel that they came very close. Curiosity?
Maybe they like what I write. Lol.

When I opened my eyes they were gone. But were they really? After some thought, perhaps they just turned off their lights.

These 2 orbs glowed from withing with a warm light, very much different than the first orb which appeared cold and dull.  The odd part is that the limb of the cottonwood, where the first orb had been, was cut down shortly afterwards. Might be a coincidence but still.

I have been left wondering if there is some type of telepathy being used because why would I feel them so strongly?

If it was ours why would they bother to light up and float down to me?

Anyway I am hopeful for another encounter and this time I will try and be more brave. It would be helpful if I would be given some type of advanced warning so that I could be more prepared.
