From what I've read MKUltra was an attempt at finding a truth serum. Some of it was probably unethical by today's standards but there you go.

I think, in a roundabout way, that Bob Lazar was forced to go public to save his life.

The only danger is to the general public who are taken in by these con artists.

Like pretty much all subjects in life, it can used and manipulated by con-men, but I wouldn't automatically say everyone is out to make a fast buck or con people. There are some interesting cases out there, that deny simple explanation and require further investigation.

I didn't say anything about whether or not there is any danger these days, my post answered a simple question whether or not there has ever been any danger. As for LLM and DI, I also include sources from the LLM and everyone is free to find out the truth for themselves with the LLM helping guide the way.
