So I know a meth user.

You can't save an addict; only an addict can save themselves.

Why would you even be talking about having sex with an addict?

But I am glad your life is complete and on a solid foundation, you can introduce the chaos of addiction to it without reservation.

An addict will sell you out for a few hits.

Now her "friend" knows of you, you are associated with a meth head, and her dealer.

Now she may be no threat to you
But are you sure her "friend" wouldnt stick a knife in your ribs for your wallet and cell phone?

Relationships with addicts always include thier friends and family and all the chaos that brings...

Always hopeful yet discontent, knows changes aren't permanent
But change is

I was a psyconaught, and some substances could bring you closer to a higher level, meth is the opposite and its a very much lower level.

Yet people think we are weird and...

Nothing used in excess is good for you...

We aren't talking about a little weed or eating a few "shrooms" and wandering behind the little animals... on a weekend. I don't even like discussing passive recreational use from responsible users in the same conversation as addiction.

If it's something you have physical and psychological withdrawals from if you stop...

It's a dangerous addiction...

Food, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, sex, coke, meth, crack, heroine, lsd, pcp, angel dust, smack, and other indulgences all can be highly addictive...

It's just the degree of destruction they impart on the addict and those who love them...

Didn't say, suggest, or infer you were... even if it appears you are as sensitive as one

Apologies for quoting you... I should have hit the new reply button

It's not about you, Goddess, it's about addiction

I don't want to confuse recreational "psychonauts" with persons with severe addiction problems....

But what do I know, it's just based on friends and family over the years...

Like watching a woman you married after dating in high school have a beautiful family with daughters and a husband who loves them, get lost in the bottle 30 years ago.

and now blames her falls on vertigo, as evidenced by an empty Budweiser 12-pack box on the counter on a Wednesday afternoon.

Addiction is the worst.  Nicotine addiction is so bad because you can buy it at every corner. I have quit 3 addictions at once years ago, Nicotine, Adderall and Alcohol.

You have to make up your mind that you are done. No one can help you but you. Your mind plays tricks and makes you think you need your addiction but you don’t.

Ask yourself if you needed heroin or nicotine when you were born. Did you come out of your mom smoking and shooting up? Nope.

The worst part about quitting any addiction is the withdrawal. If you stay strong you can beat it. Start walking during your withdrawal. Do something different.

My adderall withdrawal lasted months. I made it. Nicotine leaves your body in 3 days but the physical addiction is still there. Same with shooting up. If you think about shooting up snap your wrist with a rubber band.

Being clean and sober feels so much better. My doctor had me on 80mg of Adderall a day of Instant release. 4 times per day 20 mg. I was a drug addict.

Never Again…

Run away.
Sticking with someone who lies ... and druggies all lie ... is asking for trouble.

It’s the addiction in your head. All you think about is getting your next dose. People lie all the time, even non druggies.

What happened to stop us from getting high as a psudo awakening.?.. we go to heroin. The "use to be..." was as a kid, as a teen smack was cheap. as an adult I have helped dozens of people get clean from hard drugs, but yeah, I am not some pedestrian.

If the prevailing solution is to run away then we have an issue
