He pled guilty to the three charges Sky727. One count of distributing recordings and two counts of possessing recordings. People don't do that unless they are indeed guilty. I mean, I'm not quite sure what the material was, i can't see where it goes into specifics, which may quite possibly be for good reason. Stab in the dark, the recordings could have had heavy sectarian leanings, or inciting racial hatred or violence. Im wondering if there were other charges and this was part of a plea deal? What else did they find when they searched his property springs to mind. Edit: Looking into it a little further, the reason for the custodial is probably because courts see distribution "as actively enabling radicalisation." They treat it similarly to disseminating ISIS material, with a typical sentence of 3 to 5 years, even for first-time offenders.

I'm sorry that someone other than the citizen can decide what they can or cannot listen to.
I have no such confidence in the offices of government to 'be my filter.'

The thing is the laws restricting extremist and terrorist propaganda aren't about filtering ordinary opinions. They target material designed to radicalise and incite violence. We accept limits on dangerous chemicals and weapons. And we place limits on information deliberately crafted to harm others. This is not really any different. It might be nice to know what the specifics are all the same. Because in there will most likely be the reason for the man's guilty plea.

Of course the many Mohamed's want everyone disarmed as it makes it easier to move to their final phase of domination of religion. I used to admire the UK, and even (at one time) wanted to retire there. Now? How friggin' Orwellian can you get?

Looks like the UK government has gone full retard. I hope the British people can get their country back. I saw their WWII vet cry and tell it straight that from what he see's the sacrifice wasn't worth it. The Enemies of freedom and western ideas must have rejoiced at the site of that. Trump is the last boomer to be president I think and there are many old guard stepping down mid terms should be the first wave in that generation losing power over younger generations and the changes will start coming in hot maybe that's what is happening in the UK I don't know the average age of your politicians.

He pleaded guilty of his own accord. I'm thinking whatever he was caught buying and distributing across the UK and Europe must have been rather offensive, radically so to say the least. Once he lands in jail, im sure it will all come out in the wash. Im wondering if an appeal will ensue? But if not, then why not?
