Sounds nice.
Chicken wings with Buffalo sauce and avocado for us.
(No Buffaloes were harmed during the making of the sauce.
Chickens, not so much).
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope. Nothing...

God-damned beaky b@stards had it coming.
That sounds great as well.

So, doing something nice. Our 1989 Mazda MX 5 mk 1 has been off road since failing her MOT
.
We were going to sell her for spares or repair but we've had her for 20 plus years and can't bear to see her go.
So, we have decided to restore her.
Another one doesn't bite the dust. She will live on!
Selling our Volvo but keeping our BMW Z4.
Once we get it fixed. It has a problem. The indicators are working!
Shocking!

Another add on, I forgot to show the $8000 go-fund-someone video of the year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHvFoCzXDcA
Good for her, make sure to claim it on your taxes.

We have a delightful Nor'Easter hitting us now. 30 mph winds with higher gusts, but those winds have a lot of salt, with fools with t'ings electrical, like the telecom transfer boxes and the power lines and transformers. The seas are HUGE and beautiful. I think it was Crakeur at ATS that said, (although it could have been a quote from Dr. Love) something to the effect that "it is okay to admire the violence of nature." Man, the seas are ROARING, and crossing the primary roads in several places with rocks and other floaty things.
Nature brings us change. Change is interesting, but more than that, it shapes our existence and to some extent is the data by which we measure living history. This is a very good day, because it is filled with changes, and none of those changes injured anyone.

I find that the liberal protestors have a lot of passion in what they believe in and as such, they go hard when they don't see humanity at its best. They do what they feel is helping humanity for that particular cause they are protesting about.

I can't.

You don't have to. All you have to do is see some good in the posters and people and situations around you. Otherwise, I would guess this thread isn't for you. See some good. I promise it won't hurt. Much.

Occasionally, (I mean rarely)
The goodness and kindness of the world kind of "bursts in" on me.
You know, there's lot's to get caught up in... lots...
But then, like a warm beam of sunlight on a cloudy day...
There it is...
And I realized...
You do have to be willing to see it amongst the muck of the world...
(Lord knows the media won't show you...
unless it's "brought to you by "Rondo Bold," or "Floormans' Beeswax"...
and subliminally associated with sexual context.)
Ooops, it's not easy to avoid drifting back into the malaise... is it?
But the good shines through regardless...
I make little moments when I can...
just for fun.
Shhhh.
