Who knows. Maybe they have 'sign guys', and the more signs they post, the more money they get, or a "reminder" or prediction based on work experience where two uneven planes meet.

The irony here is that most of the really bad bumps don't come with a sign, and then I'm fixed on the instrument cluster to see if the TPMS is going to light up.

Happy Birthday Mr Tesla.

Love the sparks you made that still linger.

The auto-save is a very useful feature here. The last post I was replying I accidently set my 2oz super sugary sweet tweaker on its cap that had been set aside and over it went all down inside my keyboard, so I obviously needed a time out.

Very nice!! It looks like you put a bit more effort into it than I did.

I put nothing in really, just steered the flow.

Sidenote...

Ever wonder why we are globally taught to count from "1" from the earliest of ages?

1 - 10 = Ten numbers, all definative and specific and anything else is a different number. The same principle applies regardless of how high we count.

What happens if we start at "0"?

0 - 10 = Ten SPACES, and because there is no limit to metaphorical space, we have an infinite amount of possibilities.

Explained as the difference between "Analogue" and "Digital" perhaps.

One is a single wave and a singlularity like the groove of a record or a natural sound wave, the other is a Particle and disconnected like the dots and lines of a CD disk containing only specific parts of a sound wave.

Time and Space is Everything.

Tesla understood so much, bless the cheeky little chap. Immortal, and he knew it.

Maybe this gives me an idea for a thread that we could play around with.

I came across an article, touting the device that a mega tech business was promoting since 2017... the device serves as an "authenticator" so your data is safe if someone steals your phone, or happens to get into your data some other way.  It creates a machine-level code to allow the user to access their information... but only the user who has the authenticator.

Of course, being mentally-challenged myself, I found this highly ironic.

I mean, think about this... how much does your data weigh?  How much does it displace, space-wise?  Zero.  It's "virtual."  But wait kids... it's not 'safe,' I can "steal it."

So here's a 'physical' object to protect your 'virtual' objects.

Crazy.

I heard today is going to be the hottest day so far, and then it's supposed to start cooling down a bit. I recall one day a week or so ago it got up to 105 F. It's 92 F here right now and will start dropping in a couple hours, so I'm not seeing it.

It's been pretty bad though and I'll be hitting the road soon. Lately after running the AC in the car for a bit I try turning it off but usually have to turn it back on after a few minutes.

I have this burning question:

Why does bottled water have an expiration date?

I mean, if you allowed it to become heated, then you might surmise that the plastic would leach into the water, and if construed as a time weighted average, you might arrive at an approximate elapsed time which generally represented the "safe usage" period.

OR

The MFers want to scare us into throwing away perfectly good bottled water and buying new because it is "expired".  Boo f'n hoo.

OR?
