He does not have sovereign immunity, that is for the sovereign. He also does not have diplomatic immunity, because at that time he was not in a diplomatic role.
He does however have unofficial "elite immunity". You know, the kind where charges get dismissed on a technicality, witnesses disappear, plaintiffs back down, evidence slips through the cracks, and legal consequences just don't seem to happen no matter how much mud actually sticks.
Whether that privilege (from the Latin, literally: "private law") continues to be extended to him is something we don't get to decide. I imaging it may very well, due to a potential domino effect.

This guy ... what he did ...
he was never alone in this...
ever.
Does he get to not "testify" to the court?
Does this mean he was not part of any associated conspiracy?
Or is that sealed?
Serious question... not being snarky.
He wont be forced to testify if he is the defendant.
I was not here.

Yes. He would have the right to not take the stand. But he would lose that in certain circumstances .
I don't know what the charges might be, misfeasance in public office, maybe?
Or just being a fat, self entitled, sweaty pompous nonce?

I mean if he did, i imagine the cross-examination would be interesting.
And if found guilty, he's likely to add a perjury charge if he decides to talk nonsense or tell lies in the dock.
Would he not?

I wonder if his mahoosive ego will get the better of him and he will go?
He has been 'summoned' before, but wriggled out of it by paying Virginia off IIRC.

Na, better punishment. Make him a working royal again and send him to Africa to build hospitals and shit.
Maybe even remote Canada?

The problem is that the only thing he's apt to build is more sexual offense cases abroad.

I do not know if this has already been posted but according the a Palace Security Guard Prince Andrew was just another abusive inbred Royal idiot ( inbred idiot my words )
Quote:In this 2022 interview with 60 Minutes, Paul Page shared his experience dealing with the outrageous antics of Prince Andrew, when he worked as a security guard for the Royal Family. Page did not hold back in revealing what had happened behind the gates of Buckingham Palace and, in particular, how the disgraced prince treated staff. Prince Andrew's behaviour has plagued the Royal Family for years since his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein came to light. Now, the prince is facing fresh allegations with the posthumous release of Virginia Giuffre's memoir. The Metropolitan Police has also said they will investigate Andrew over claims he tried to launch a smear campaign against his sex abuse accuser.
