Double pneumonia, blood transfusions?
I now know why I am called a grown up. Every time I get up I groan.

The anemia is apparently related to Thrombocytopenia in the update. This is a low platelet count from a number of reasons, Leukaemia, internal bleeding etc.

I think he has been suffering from multiple illnesses for awhile now and it’s beginning to catch up. Low platelets = poor clotting. Low hemoglobin = piss poor oxygen carrying capacity, and so on.

All this leads to poor immune response and hence the pneumonia.

It won’t be easy to fight this at his advanced age and underlying condition.

As always, my 2 pesos…

The one big thing that "Francis" will be remembered for in this Catholic family which is full of US military veterans .... his statement of how he 'feels honored when Americans say they don't like him'.   Anti-American bigot.

The other things .. that he's anti-borders, anti-free-market, and anti-Catholic.

Still ... we prayed for his soul today.  The bible says that when you pray for your enemies that it's like heaping hot coals upon their head.   Sounded good to us.

Proverbs 25:22
  • "If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for so you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the Lord will reward you".

I never liked this Pope. He is really just a corrupt politician, and even wrote personal letters denying that Christ was divine. Not the person to head a Christian church.

Now headlines say he has kidney failure on top of it all.

Do you have a source for that?

Thanks in advance.

It freaks me out to see another change of Pope when the world is as unstable as it is. These truly are the end times.

I keep looking at the Prophecy of St. Malachy.
So far it has been dead on accurate.
The pope after Pope Benedict is supposed to be 'Peter the Roman' and the last pope.
There is a very good argument that can be made that Francis wasn't truly elected.
That Benedicts resignation wasn't authentic and therefore Francis isn't actually pope in the metaphysical sense.
So he wouldn't be 'Peter the Roman'.
But if the next one takes the name of Peter, or is from Rome, or does something to fit the 'Peter the Roman' title ...
Then he's the last pope according to the prophecy.

Thanks, but I was asking for a source confirming the Pope "wrote personal letters denying that Christ was divine".
