This is a traffic jam in Los Angeles. Where I live, a traffic jam is 3 cars behind a farm tractor, waiting for a chance to pass.

The shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent has the AWFULs in full meltdown mode, both online and in the streets of Minneapolis. I don't know why they feel the need to mess with ICE agents like it's actually gonna do something. They really should just go back to the house and relax.

   We already have too many people.   That would destroy our farmlands, fill up cities and towns with massive landfills for trash, overwhelm our sewer systems, destroy our forests and open spaces, wipe out our wildlife that would have nowhere to go and no food to eat, pollute our air with their cars and pollute our water, fill the beaches and ski slopes and every other space with human bodies ... etc etc.

A couple billion people living here.   What a disgusting notion.

I was using Great Britain's current population density as a guide to how the US could support a larger population. Great Britain still manages to have extensive farms, unique wildlife, vast moors, forests, wildlands and many quaint little country towns.

I don't think there's ever been a situation in the last 100 years
