No.  It's a fact.   Military and law enforcement people are the best ones to hire for border patrol and for ICE.   They have the background and experience necessary for the job.   MUCH better than hiring people just off the street.   And then they get their ICE training on top of their military and law enforcement training and experience.

According to an article on Futurism.com, apparently an AI LLM agent is used to hire ICE agents.

Interstingly they have two introductory programs. One for LEOs, former and current, and one for people that need the basics such as gun-handling, physicality, etc.

So the AI was used to fast-track LEOs into the lighter program for faster integration. Funny. Because all one had to on their application was include the word “officer” and the AI would place you in the LEO program. So yeah. Lots of folks with no formal training were implemented into ICE, an extra-judicial goon squad to be used on American soil for “reasons”.

Keeping in mind, at only 73k people having been arrested, Trump is nowhere near his own projected goals for “catch and deport” as portrayed.

So yeah, “officers’” perspective indeed.
